FAQs

Q: What is Taos Sports Associates all about?

A: The mission of Taos Sports Associates (TSA) is to give an opportunity for athletes to become great skiers and pursue personal goals. TSA promotes the development of good sportsmanship, healthy competitiveness, sound technical skills, and an appreciation for the spirit of skiing and of the mountains. TSA strives to provide a pathway to success for motivated individuals from all walks of life.

Q: What is required to join the Taos Ski Team?

A: Fees: Time:
Running the ski team takes a lot of time and energy. We expect the families of ski team members to share this responsibility by giving time to the ski team. That commitment is guaranteed through the use of deposits:
  • Work Deposit
  • Raffle Deposit
These deposits are secured by check. Those checks are cashed and the reconciled deposit returned upon the completion of the work and raffle requirements (Please see the registration packet for more information).

Make all checks out to Taos Sport Associates and send all payments to:

A: No, Taos Sports Associates (aka the Taos Ski Team) is an independent, private non-profit (501c3) corporation. However, Taos Ski Valley supports TSA by providing hill space to set gates and train.
